Expandable Ads may be served directly by Yahoo! or by one of the
following approved 3Tech Vendors:
Tangozebra, Eyeblaster, Pointroll
Please note that the expanding part of the ad must be linked to the ad unit. If you require a non-linked expandable ad please contact Yahoo! for approval.

Base ad unit must be standard dimensions as above
Expanded panel for standard banner - 468x350 pixels
Expanded panel for skyscraper banner - 350x600 pixels

Gif or Macromedia Flash 4 Compatible SWF file
Backup Gif
A Backup Gif must be provided for non-flash users.
This Gif should follow the specifications outlined in the Image
Ad section on the Standard Ad Unit
Page
Frame Rate
maximum 25 frames per second, 18 frames per second is
preferred

Activation
Should activate on mouseover and deactivate on mouseoff
Banners must include some copy that encourages user to mouseover
ad.

Click and Close Flash Commands
The following click commands must be added to all expandable ads that use Yahoo! Technology:
This command should be activated when the user rolls into the expanded area

This command should be activated when the user rolls out of the expanded area

Add this script to your Clickthrough button:

Audio in Ads
Audio stream must be initiated by user click. No mouseover
starts.
Audio stream may not exceed 30 seconds.
Audio must be encoded at volume less than or equal to -12 db.
All Ads must have clearly visible stop and start audio controls.
Loading Other Movies
Up to four additional download streams upon user click are
permitted.
Each additional stream may not exceed 50K. Yahoo! must serve all .swf
files associated with ad. If you require dynamically updating content
please speak to your sales representative.

Third party ads are accepted on Yahoo! properties, but not all vendors. Please consult the 3rd party site for further information (http://adscenter.europe.yahoo.com/techvendors/) or contact your sales representative
